Thomas Harmeyer, Regional Manager – Germany, Austria & Switzerland, HCC Global Financial Products

Thomas Harmeyer is Regional Manager for all German speaking countries, heading the underwriting team for this region at HCC Global Financial Products (HCC Global). He specializes in Financial Lines insurance and due to his vast experience is considered an expert in FI business. If his schedule allows Thomas takes the opportunity to speak at national and international conferences and seminars and has published articles on macroeconomic topics in various publications.

Prior to joining HCC Global in late summer of 2003, Thomas was Regional Manager of a specialized publishing company in Germany. He began his career at the former CologneRe (now GenRe) where he gained expert knowledge in technical analysis as well as D&O and PI underwriting. Thomas earned his degree in business administration and economics at the University of Cologne, Germany.
